Great Britain - Day 11

Cambridge

Today we will fly back home, so we decided to use our remaining time in Cambridge, which is not too far from our airport. Cambridge is famous for its many colleges, and it is a pretty town to walk around for some relaxed sightseeing. The following photos give an impressions of what we saw in cambridge.

Four bright red telephone boxes near a church form a colorful spot in town. We hope that even with mobile phones, these red telephone booths will never disappear.

   

Cambridge is a town with many students and many bicycles. The students are more welcome than the bicycles.

Not only colleges but many other building in Cambridge are pretty to look at.

A late lunch in an Italian restaurant concluded our holiday. After that we drove back to the airport, dropped our rented car, and flew back home with many good memories to this great holiday. We may be back for another visit soon.
